It sometimes can be a tough decision on whether or not to wear a wedding veil. Here are some things to consider upon making a decision to wear a veil:
Veils have been a tradition for many decades. Not only are they a beautiful decoration for your head, but they add elegance to your wedding gown ensemble. Many people still are wearing veils with their gowns as it symbolizes purity and virtue. Some may also hold to the tradition of the groom not seeing the bride before the wedding so they may where a blusher with their veil. However, most brides today wear a veil simply because it looks beautiful. You may want to add a tiara to compliment your veil for a more extravagant look. After all, it is your time to look like a princess for a day, and what better headpiece could do so then a wedding veil!

Your wedding is coming up and so is your reception, and what a great way to show your guests your appreciation then by wedding favors. There are many different wedding favor ideas that you may want to keep in mind before you shop:
The theme of your wedding can greatly influence the type of favors you would like to give. For instance, if you are planning a beach wedding, you may want to hand out favor bags decorated with seashells or shell place card holders used for seating and a gift your guest can take home. Perhaps you are planning a fairy-tale theme wedding, then maybe try castle or pumpkin coach design candle holders.
Candies and treats make great favor gifts as well and these can be easily placed inside boxes, tins or bags tied with custom printed ribbons. Chocolates and candy bars can also be engraved with names and date of wedding on wrapper.
Most favors can be purchased online in wedding accessory and wedding favor stores. Sometimes there is a price reduction with more quantity ordered and it may be wise to order a few more then anticipated.

You’ve just purchased your wedding gown, and now your ready for your wedding veil. Here are some tips to keep in mind when trying to select your perfect wedding veil:
Your veil should reflect the same appearance as your wedding gown. In other words, it’s always best to stay with the same colors (i.e. white/white, ivory/ivory). There are some shades of white or ivory that can match other shades. In this case you may request for your bridal shop a small swatch sample of the color veil you have in mind.
Length is another challenging task to determine. There are no rules on veil length versus your gown style. Traditionally, more elaborate gowns generally call for a mid-back to cathedral length veils. Less formal gowns can get away with shorter veil styles, but can get away with even longer ones as well.
Veils can be purchased in your local bridal shop or online through many companies. Most veils come with a metal or plastic comb attached at the top that can easily be placed in the hair.

Wedding veils have been the choice headpiece for brides all over the world for centuries. Brides started wearing veils as a symbol of modesty, privacy, youth and virginity. Today they are still used to compliment your wedding gown and for a decorative headpiece.
Veils can be worn alone or with an additional headpiece or tiara in front. Veils come in one, two and sometimes three-tiers (layers) with the uppermost layer occasionally being worn as a blusher over the face. Veils also come in many lengths including shoulder length, elbow, fingertip, knee, floor, chapel and cathedral. You may have the option to custom make your own veil with scattered accents such as rhinestones or sequins, and any style edges you choose.
Tiaras have become very popular in recent years. Most tiaras can be worn directly on top the head in a crown or headband style with tiny loops at ends to be able to pin to hair easily. Some also come with plastic or metal combs attached. Some popular tiaras today are made with rhinestones, pearls and authentic and faux crystals.
